So, my little Rocky boy is quite old, a little sassy, and is not super receptive to new people. No idea how they charmed him into being such a good boy but he absolutely loved the staff there. I was around him the entire time and he truly seemed so comfortable around both the nurses and vet who saw to him. Highly recommend this clinic for both one-off appointments and especially recommend for regular visits. My Rock-man said he’d give 6 stars if we could!
Very convenient location, personable staff, and a very caring veterinarian. Impressed with the thoroughness of exams, and additional testing to properly diagnose pet's condition with associated treatment. Have only recently used Humane Vet for two of our pets. Place much confidence in it for their care. Dr. Ertola is a credit to her profession.
From the admission, vet nurse & veterinarian doctor are friendly and helpful. The vet Doc explained every details necessary for me to know and be aware with the health condition of my pet. Giving me options to what or how I feel that will fit my budget regarding conditions of my pet. I highly recommend this vet hospital to anyone that has a companion pet.
I had an urgent matter with my dog and they got me in the same day due to a cancellation. I had never gone there before so I didn't know what to expect. They were very kind and very professional. I loved the doctor and Bella was as sweet as all get go. Front desk folks were pretty cool too. They gave me the estimate in writing. The main thing is they took care of Bobby. I will be seeing them again. I would recommend them 100 percent.

Dr. Purificacion was born the Philippines, where her dream of becoming a veterinarian was kindled by raising a Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso duo at home. Her love for animals led her to completion of her veterinary medicine degree at the De La Salle Araneta University Philippines, and clinical clerkship at the Louisiana State University.

Dr. Ertola grew up in San Francisco, where she spent her childhood engaging in activities centered around animals. She volunteered to help socialize shelter cats, worked at a summer camp with the SCPA Hearing Dogs program, and took horseback riding lessons with her cowboy grandpa. Now residing in Bonita with her husband (whom she met at UC San Diego), her two young daughters, and their tri-pawed fur baby Lab mix, Riley, Dr. Ertola cherishes her role as a veterinarian.
